Watch X Men Movie 2000

I need to go through and watch all the X-Men movies. Do they actually all go together or is it a mix?

I've only seen X-Men (2000) and Parts of Days of Future Past (2014). I've seen Deadpool and Logan, but I get that those are kind of like side-movies. Anyway, I owe it to 13 year old me to go through and watch these movies as I used to read the comics and everything. I was wondering, to keep my sanity, do these films fit together or are they a mix of successive parts and individual stand-alone's?
